Avengers: Doomsday and
Avengers: Secret Wars receive some exciting updates ahead of principal photography of the two Marvel Cinematic Universe installments.
In a new interview with Collider, the Russo brothers were asked about some updates for Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, with the first film getting closer to starting production this spring. When asked about when fans can expect more casting news, Joe Russo kept things cryptic by teasing,
"Never. Not until you go to the theater." The runtime for Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars were also brought up, as Joe Russo said,
"If I were a betting man, I would say the first one is two and a half, and the second one"s three hours." As far as being worried about set photos, the Russo brothers explained how they are taking a lot of precautions, stating the following:
[indent] Joe Russo: We’re pretty good about shutting that down.
Anthony Russo: We"ve sort of strategized to hopefully be effective with that.
Joe Russo: [We will be] doing quite a bit of that. We don’t want people getting photographs, so we are being pretty stringent.
Anthony Russo: The location work we are doing, we have picked those locations with that in mind, as well.
